I wanted an LED matrix sign for my door that can display my name, weather, when the next bus is coming, tweets from people, etc.

Schematics

These are still in development, so they might change. There are 3 boards in total: main microcontroller board, DB9 to RJ45 converter, and display board. The last of these is spread out over the last four pages of the schematics.
